Hello!

Although I'm Dutch now, I was born in Germany to a Canadian mom and American dad who moved often, a habit I inherited. After living in 22 places and 8 countries, I finally settled down in the Dutch countryside near Groningen.

I'm a certified English teacher with master’s degrees in literature and education. In the past, I worked at writing centers and multilingual schools, but when I became a parent in 2016, I made a career switch from teaching to writing professionally.

Initially, I worked as a content writer and got paid to publish blogs like "Tips for Selling Your Home" (I've never sold a home) and "Places to Go Surfing on the Oregon Coast" (I've never gone surfing on the Oregon Coast). But during the pandemic in 2021, I decided to create things I really loved instead.

Since then, I've written a novel and a script, and I'm now delving into art. As a stay-at-home parent, I get a lot of inspiration from my home life and personal experiences, though I'm drawn to imaginative and conceptual art as well.
